The Norbert and Friends Missions, through the New Life Apostolic Network, focus on fostering Christian unity and encouraging ministry leaders from different denominations to come together. Their goal is to create a platform for dialogue and collaboration, allowing church leaders to discuss ways to reach more people for Christ. This unity is essential in the context of the five-fold ministry, as mentioned in Ephesians 4:11-13, where Paul outlines the roles of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers in equipping believers and building up the body of Christ.

The Bible has much to say about the importance of unity in the Church. In John 17:21, Jesus prays for all believers to be united, just as He and the Father are united, so that the world may believe in Him. Unity within the Church is a powerful testimony to the world of God’s love and the truth of the gospel.

In Ephesians 4:3, Paul exhorts believers to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Unity in the Church does not mean uniformity but rather a harmonious relationship where different gifts and callings work together for the common goal of glorifying God and advancing His kingdom.

By participating in The Norbert and Friends Missions and the New Life Apostolic Network, ministries and leaders are encouraged to put aside doctrinal differences and focus on the shared mission of bringing people to Christ. This approach mirrors the biblical call for the Church to be united in purpose, working together in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible encourages Christians to focus on unity in Christ, as seen in verses like 1 Corinthians 1:10 (“I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought”). Through networks like the New Life Apostolic Network, churches and ministries can support each other and strengthen the global body of Christ, working together for the gospel’s advancement.
